Summer Programs

Read to Me
Ages 2-5; 6/17-8/8

Complete a reading log and your child gets to piick a book to keep or a prize fom the treasure chest.
To register: sign up and pick up a log in the Children's Department during library hours from 6/17-8/5. 

Summer Quest
K-12TH Grade; 6/17-8/8

Complete quests and get prizes! Participants pick up a log, complete different quests, then choose a book to keep or a prize from the treasure chest, and register for the grand prize drawings on Thursday 8/8 @ 6:00pm.
To register: sign up and pick up a log in the Children's Department during library hours from 6/17-8/5.  

Lunch at the Library                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Recommended for ages 5-17 (younger children are welcome); Mondays-Fridays @ 12:00-1:00 6/17-8/9
Lunches are provided by the St Clair Area School District. Blocks, Legoes, games, crafts, and other activities will be available as well. Please register at least one day in advance to ensure an accurate lunch count.
                                                                   


Early Childhood   

Story Time
Recommended for: ages 17 months-5 years; Mondays @ 10:30am and Saturdays @ 10:30am 6/17-8/10
We have free play, read, sing, and do a simple craft. This is a good opportunity for young children to be exposed to PA Early Learning Standards, as well as one for parents, grandparents, and other caregivers to interact. It is also a fun, positive way to introduce young children to a group environment. Siblings are welcome. Please register.


Juvenile/Young Adult

Escape Room
Ages 5-11; TBA                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
                                                      Participants save the library from aliens, solve the the Riddle of the Sphinx.... It's a new adventure each time!

Rec Room
Ages 5-11; TBA                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  
Come play Air Hockey, Cornhole, classic board games, and video games on the library's PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch. (Thanks to First Federal Charitable Foundation for the video gaming grant).

Gaming Group
Ages 13-17; Tuesdays @ 4:00-6:00pm. Ongoing.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Come play vidoe games, Dungeons and Dragons or any other multi-player games you'd like to bring. Classic board games are available as well.

Teen Advisory Board
Ages 13-17; 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month @ 6:00pm. Ongoing. 
Have a say in what books, video games, and movies we provide at the library, as well as special teen programs. Please register.

Teen Makerspace
Ages 13-17; 2nd & 4thTuesday of the month @ 6:00pm. Ongoing.
This is an opportunity for teens to pursue their creativity, whether writing, illustrating, or arts and crafts. Participants are encouraged to bring their suggestions and interests.
